Roles of the Mervielde Group
The Mervielde Group is the data controller for the processing of personal data in the various processes and systems that apply or are in use by the Mervielde Group.

Mervielde Group activities
The Mervielde Group specializes in the transport of hazardous and non-hazardous liquids in tank trucks and tank containers. In addition to transport, we also offer integrated services: tank cleaning, storage and inventory management, order tracking, etc.

The Mervielde Group has a website to inform you about our services and events.
Social Media
The Mervielde Group has a company page on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Both are used solely for business-to-business communication. As a data subject, you are free to choose whether or not to follow the Mervielde Group on these social media platforms.

We receive and process data from companies/suppliers/partners/subcontractors, etc., and their employees in the context of a collaboration or future collaboration (prospecting).

This data falls into the "General Identification Data" category and includes:

All personal data is used solely for our standard business operations and the provision of our services. In accordance with the GDPR, this corresponds to the "Legitimate Interest of the Controller."

Personal data is retained as long as the collaboration is in place and has not been terminated by either party. After the collaboration ends, personal data is retained for another seven years. As a data subject, you can explicitly request that this data be deleted earlier, without violating the statutory retention periods.
Transfer to third parties [5]
We never sell or rent your data to persons or companies outside the Mervielde Group.
If we use an external processor, we will always ensure that your data is treated confidentially and used securely. The external processor will always have a contractual relationship with the Mervielde Group. Therefore, the processors will never be allowed to use your personal data on their own initiative.

The personal data we collect is adequate and relevant for our purposes. We limit our collection of your personal data to the minimum amount necessary for the purposes for which we process it.
Automatic processing & profiling
The Mervielde Group does not engage in profiling, nor does it process your personal data entirely automatically.
